Mark Group in the Community

Mark Group is delighted to be the Official Sponsor of the Leicester Tigers Community Programme.

Mark Group believes in supporting and developing healthy links with the local community, and is delighted to engage in this new programme promoting strong and healthy lifestyles and greener living.

The Community Programme involves:

• Tiger Rugby Courses
• Tiger Healthy Schools Programme
• Tigers “Playing for Success” Learning Centre
• Matchday coaching clinics

Rugby Courses

Tigers Rugby Courses have continued to expand with courses staged all over the Midlands and in Norfolk. The Tigers Community coaches are kept busy helping young players to improve their skills and develop their game.

Healthy Schools Programme

Working with Leicester City Council Tigers work within 20 inner-city schools throughout the season. The Tigers Health & Education Officer (THEO) informs and educates 1000s of pupils about the importance and benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle.

Tigers Learning Centre

The Tigers Learning Centre hosts a government-funded programme which lasts for 10 weeks and consists of a variety of activities which have been designed to develop skills in literacy, numeracy and ICT.

Matchday Coaching Clinics

Tigers Match day Coaching Clinics are held on match day mornings and always prove a great success as groups from all over the country visit the club’s purpose-built Oval Park training facilities. The coaching clinics provide a fantastic experience for players to take part in a coaching session followed by a question-and-answer session with a first-team player and a behind-the-scenes tour of our Oval Park facility.
