Job Description

Responsible For

Installing Loft insulation into Domestic/Commercial Properties

Main Duties

To load insulation material on to company owned vehicle and to drive to and from various sites to carry out insulation works
To load roof space with the required amount of insulation rolls in readiness to insulate loft
To access lofts with ladders and light provided by the company, first placing dust sheets and taking extra care not to cause unnecessary disturbance, debris or damage
To fit draught proofing insulation material to all specified areas to the meet the relevant specification
To clear away all waste material and packaging from the dwelling and dispose of correctly
To make sure the insulation is correctly fitted and all the debris and equipment (including any excess material) is removed from the property, prior to the completing of all paperwork before leaving site
To complete all relevant paperwork and return it to the Planning Coordinator on a daily basis
To adhere to any instructions given, either verbally or on work sheet.
To treat all clients of Mark Group with courtesy, and their property with due care.
And any other reasonable duties commensurate with the post, which may be allocated from time to time.

Education & Qualification e.g. academic or professional qualifications	3 GCSE\'s (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English	ACOPS accredited Level 2/3 NVQ in Customer Service, Customer Care or equivalent Full and current driving licence Class ‘C1’ Licence Health & Safety Qualification
Skills/Abilities e.g. analytical skills, computer skills	Ability to communicate articulately with customers and colleagues at all levels Must be numerate & literate Practical Ability to work on own initiative Self motivated Map Reading	Good geographical knowledge of the UK
Personal Details e.g. leadership, flexibility, teamworking	Professional Attitude Must be presentable Able to work as part of a team Strong work ethic Can do attitude Physically fit (job involves & lifting, climbing ladders etc) Responsible attitude towards safety Hardworking with a positive approach to duties
Other Circumstances Special conditions that apply to the job e.g. need to travel, work away from home etc.	This is a physical job that requires you to work outside in all weathers. You\'ll need a head for heights as working up ladders is a fundamental part of the job, you must also be able to work in confined spaces (lofts). Prepared to work away from home as and when required Is required to undergo a Criminal Reference Check & a DVLA check
