Job Description

The Role

Installing External Wall Insulation and associated products onto property façade.

Main Duties/Responsibilties

• Knowledge of all plastering principles, as well as external rendering skills.

• An ability to work with others is essential, combined with a professional demeanour at all times is imperative.

• To load insulation material on to company owned vehicle and to drive to and from various sites to carry out insulation works.

• To install external wall insulation, externally on existing occupied properties, working off scaffold or other access equipment.

• Use various generators, power drills corded and cordless and hand held tools (observing safety regulations)

• To clean brick dust off windowsills, pathways etc. and to sweep up and clear away any other debris i.e. brick Chipping’s and fibre, from occupied properties and to remove all packaging from site.

• To attend progressive training/tests as required, in order to carry out the above duties.

• To complete all relevant paperwork and return it to the Project Co-ordinator on a daily basis.

• To correctly use company vehicles and maintain, keep clean as expected from a Mark Group employee.

• To adhere to any instructions given, either verbally or on work sheet.

• To treat all clients of Mark Group with courtesy, and their property with due care.

• And any other reasonable duties commensurate with the post, which may be allocated from time to time.
 

Requirements

Work Experience
e.g. previous experience required to do the job
Proven strong experience in plastering, rendering and construction background.

Keen eye for attention to detail with a high degree of pride.

To be able to work autonomously and in a team.

Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of projection machine application.

Through colour renders

Scratch and dash work.
Education & Qualification
e.g. academic or professional qualifications
3 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at Grade C or above, including English

Must hold a suitable plastering/ construction qualification.

Possess a full driving licence.
Skills/Abilities
e.g. analytical skills, computer skills
Ability to communicate articulately with customers and colleagues at all levels

Must be numerate & literate

Practical

Ability to work on own initiative

Self motivated
Good geographical knowledge of the UK

This is a physical job that requires you to work outside in all weathers. You'll need a head for heights as it is a fundamental part of the job.
