Job Description

Job Title: Technical Monitoring Officer

Department: Customer Services

Responsible To: Customer Services Manager

Based At: Field Based Role in the South

The Role: Carry out random technical monitoring inspections of completed cavity wall and loft insulation works. Primarily this role covers the Chessington, Witham and Ashford area. This role will require you to lodge away from home as and when required.

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

 Carry out random technical monitoring inspections of completed cavity wall and loft insulation works
 Carry out minor remedial works as and where required.
 Complete inspection records for each property visited and to fill out remedial worksheets where required
 Carry out primary inspection on customer complaints, take remedial actions where appropriate and to report as necessary
 Carry out administration tasks related to the job including telephone contact with customers to arrange appointments, scheduling inspections, completing and submitting reports
 Treat all customers of Mark Group with courtesy and their property with care
 Flexible approach to working hours
• Ensure all associated administration duties are carried out in line with company procedures
• Ensure that a professional and courteous approach is adopted at all times
• Strictly adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and ensure that the working environment is practical for both yourself and others
• And any other reasonable duties commensurate with the post, which may be allocated from time to time.

 

Requirements

Specification Essential Desirable
Work Experience
e.g. previous experience required to do the job
Proven practical experience in the installation of cavity wall and loft insulation Previous inspecting experience
Education & Qualification
e.g. academic or professional qualifications
Educated to minimum GCSE level
Full UK Driving Licence
NVQ in Home Insulation, customer service, customer care or equivalent
Skills/Abilities
e.g. analytical skills, computer skills
Strong customer service skills
Attention to detail.
Self Motivated

Can do attitude
Able to build rapport at all levels

Able to deliver information clearly and articulately
