Training Policy
The Mark Group recognises that its employees are it’s most valuable resource. We are committed to the training and development of our entire workforce to equip them with the necessary skills to reach their full potential.
As a part of this commitment the Mark Group has invested in its own academy based at it’s Leicester HQ. Through the Academy the Mark Group provides training in subjects as wide ranging as the installation of Home Insulation and Renewable energy systems to customer service and management courses.
This policy is designed to enable the Mark Group to achieve its aims and objectives which are to provide Home Insulation and Renewable Energy Installations of the highest quality.
We aim to identify the training and development needs of individuals through the following:
- A training needs analysis questionnaire
- An annual performance appraisal
- Requests from employees.
All training and development needs will be addressed through a variety of training resources including in house courses and approved external suppliers, dependant on the nature of the training and the qualification requirements.
All internal training provided by The Mark Group will be of no cost to the employee. External courses and professional qualifications may be fully or partly funded by the Mark Group depending on the nature of the training.
All Employees are responsible for their own development and as such may inform the Mark Group of their development needs and take part in prescribed development activities.
As part of the Mark Groups continuing commitment to training and development, employees are asked to provide feedback on the value and effectiveness of the training and development they undertake. This information will be used to assess and improve the training process.
This policy respects equal opportunities and applies to all employees.
