National energy saving solutions specialist, Mark Group, is recruiting hundreds of new members of staff for its Home Performance team following a period of consistent growth.
The company, which installs energy saving and energy generating measures into thousands of UK homes, schools and businesses every week, is seeking 400 Home Performance Assessors (HPAs) and managers to carry out home energy efficiency assessments at properties nationwide.
Mark Group Commercial Development Director, Jay Hensman, is swapping his desk for the open road in preparation for a special charity cycle ride from John O’Groats to Lands End.
In preparation, Jay is taking to the saddle for up to 45 hours per month to ensure he’s fighting fit for the nine day, 960 mile trip, which he will complete with around 700 other riders as part of the Ride Across Britain challenge. The challenge will hopefully raise £5,000 for the Prince's Trust, of which Mark Group is a gold patron.
A Kent animal rescue centre has been brought in from the cold this winter thanks to a kind-hearted energy saving solutions specialist.
West Hougham based Chancepixies, which provides shelter to hundreds of homeless and abandoned dogs from across the county each year, is having two of its oldest kennel blocks refurbished by a team of volunteers from Mark Group.
After deploying the ‘HeatSeekers’ technology on streets up and down the country, the Energy Saving Partnership, the thermal imaging arm of Mark Group, has been able to install cavity wall and loft insulation measures into a staggering 75,000 homes, slashing carbon emissions by 4,600 tonnes and delivering energy savings in excess of £6.9 million annually.
