Getting the Wind to Work for the Mark Group
Thursday 23 November 2006
Microgeneration is the new buzzword
Generating electricity is usually the preserve of huge corporations with massive investment in their huge power stations which also consume vast quantities of coal, gas or oil. But now the Mark Group is enabling householders to generate their own supplementary supply of electricity using the power of the wind which is absolutely free! Microgeneration has arrived!
Windsave
Windsave is the leading wind turbine microgenerator and is probably the most efficient way of delivering green energy direct to the home. All it requires is a simple connection to the household wiring via a 13 amp fused spur.
Catching the Wind
The turbine assembly is wall-mounted in a position to catch the wind; this is determined after a specialist survey. If the wind profile is not adequate the system will not be installed. The Mark Group are sole surveyors and installers of the Windsave system and are responsible for all enquiries arising from the marketing campaign by the national home improvement giants, B&Q.
Insulation plus New Technologies
Marketing and Business Development Director Bill Rumble comments “Soon we will be marketing the full spectrum of energy efficiency measures for homes, including microgeneration and renewable energy technologies. Insulation continues to be our front-line weapon in reducing household energy bills and our aim now is to assist our customers to go even further by marketing and installing these new, high-quality and sensibly priced products”.
