Mark Group Gains Kingspan Solar Accreditation

Ecobuild 2010 will see Mark Group, the UK’s leading domestic installer of energy saving solutions, expand its vast portfolio of products and services further by becoming a Kingspan Solar Accredited Installer for its world-leading Thermomax solar thermal vacuum tubes and complete solar package solutions.

The new partnership means that in addition to talking to Mark Group about flat plate panels, customers can be assured of the Group’s capabilities to specify and install a greater choice of solutions for solar-powered microgeneration.

Exhibiting on stand 1852, Mark Group will have Kingspan Solar’s Thermomax vacuum tubes on display, allowing visitors to compare them alongside traditional flat plate panels, and understand their flexibility for installation on sloping roofs, flat roofs or facades. They will also be able to see how Thermomax vacuum tubes are specifically tailored for Northern European climates, deliver an unrivalled transfer of solar energy into heat and provide up to 70 per cent of hot water requirements throughout the year.

The Kingspan Solar Thermomax range consists of two types of evacuated tube collectors (HP200 and DF100), which are suitable for both domestic and commercial use, and the vacuum inside each tube provides perfect insulation by protecting the system from outside influences, such as cold, wet or windy weather. Thermomax vacuum tube collectors form part of a complete solar package from Kingspan Solar, which is custom-designed to suit each specific application and includes all the required components for the complete installation.

Mark Group will also be exhibiting other energy saving products at Ecobuild including air source heat pumps, loft insulation, cavity wall insulation and solar photovoltaic panels from industry-leading manufacturers.
