Mark Group fills the gap for customers with external wall insulation demonstrations LIVE at CIH show

Chartered Institute of Housing show exhibitor Mark Group will give delegates the chance to warm to the benefits of external wall insulation, with live demonstrations of the product taking place at this year’s Harrogate show.

Mark Group – the UK’s largest installer of insulation and renewables products – will showcase their external wall insulation to delegates with a series of live presentations at their Stand 18 in Hall A at this year’s 16 – 18 June show at the Harrogate International Exhibition Centre. There will be three daily displays at 11am, 1pm and 3pm during the three days of the CIH show – giving attendees the opportunity to see first-hand the energy efficient benefits and aesthetic appeal of external wall insulation.

External wall insulation is a form of insulation fixed to the exterior of an existing or new dwelling using a high performance insulation slab which is rendered to the property to give a protective and decorative coating to the existing facade. Suitable to properties of a solid wall,non-traditional construction or which cannot be filled by cavity fill material, external wall insulation can offer C02 savings of around 2.6 tonnes a year and about £500 a year on energy bills for an average sized semi-detached house.

With around a third of all heat loss in an un-insulated being lost through the walls, external wall insulation is one of the most effective ways to reduce the energy required to heat a home whilst significantly improving the visual appearance of the property. External wall insulation will be installed by Mark Group’s highly trained, certificated technicians with typical install time for an average sized dwelling taking around nine to ten days on site.

External wall systems come in a range of colours,textures and finishes designed to suit the majority of building designs and customer requirements. All Mark Group external wall insulation systems incorporate insulation materials that are CFC and HCFC-free and which achieve Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP).
