Mark Group Appoints New Social Housing Director

Mark Group, the UK’s leading installer of domestic energy-saving solutions has appointed Andy MacPherson as Sales Director responsible for the Social Housing and Local Authority sector.
The role of Sales Director was made available after Mike Grant was appointed as Director of Business Development at the Leicester-based business, picking up responsibility for strategic sales relationships with external partners throughout the industry.
Andy MacPherson will build upon the foundations which Mike put in place, and apply the knowledge gained from his previous role as Head of Business Development at British Gas.
Commenting on his new role, Andy said: “Mark Group is a forward-thinking organisation which is well respected in the industry and has excellent relationships in place with the top six utility providers. It is also a family-run business which, despite its size, places value on its employees, providing the opportunity to make a real difference.”
Mark Group currently delivers energy-saving measure to around 6,000 domestic properties every week, and installations into social housing and local authority stock are a crucial component of this.
“The social housing sector is evolving and opportunities open up every day for Mark Group to deliver ‘whole house’ energy-saving solutions, from insulation to renewable technology,” Andy continued. “In my new role I will be working to ensure that Mark Group stays at the forefront of the industry and is considered the first choice energy-saving partner for the social housing sector.”
Andy will report in to Group Commercial Director, Bill Rumble and will be based at Mark Group’s head office at Beaumont Leys, Leicester.
