Warrington Expands
Wednesday 29 March 2006
Helen Jones MP
Member of Parliament for Warrington North, Helen Jones, officially opened the new 7000 sq ft depot for Mark Insulations on Friday 24th March 2006. The premises are more than twice the size of the previous depot and are equipped to the highest standards. “Insulation of buildings is now a national objective” she said, “an objective which will add value to homes and greatly reduce fuel bills for householders, schools and hospitals”.
Deputy Mayor
The Deputy Mayor of Warrington, Cllr Linda Dirir, was also in attendance at the opening. She was pleased that with the larger premises the company will now be able to expand their servicing of the highly subsidised national energy efficiency schemes throughout the North West and particularly in Warrington.
A Good Thing
“Energy efficiency is a good thing for everyone” commented Chris Hume, Group Development Director for Mark Insulations. “It saves money, it reduces global warming, it makes local air cleaner and is tax-free!”
Depot Manager
Local man Steve Smith is manager of the depot and is responsible for an installation fleet of some 30 vehicles together with their installing crews. He is assisted by his own internal staff and by specialist departments at Leicester Head Office which is linked to the depot by up-to-the-minute computer systems. Further qualified insulation technicians are now being sought.
